  This unit has a dial control with five continuous speeds, along with a pulse/clean setting. Use speeds 1-3 for light blending chores, such as milkshakes or fruit juice cocktails. Speeds 3-5 are better suited to thicker mixtures and for incorporating solids into liquid ingredients.
  
  Use the manual pulse option for quick bursts of power or to loosen food particles with a soap and water mixture after use. The stainless-steel blade is sturdy enough to crush ice on the highest setting.
  
  Other features include a specially designed lid that lets you add oil or other liquids during blending, wrap-around cord storage, and rubber feet for stability.
